The announcement of Uma's birth in New Arrivals of the Winter 2006 Owlmanac included both our submission and our class reporter's comments, without making clear which was which. The first sentence was what I sent in, the rest was editorial commentary. I do enjoy bragging about my baby girl, but the announcement I sent in was just the facts. In a minor coincidence, we received the Owlmanac yesterday, on Uma's first birthday. They run just a little bit behind.
