Yesterday afternoon, Uma was rather agitated about something. Finally, we asked her, "Uma, what do you want?" She replied rather matter-of-factly, "gock-a-miyo." Now, we have no more idea what she meant than you do. If it was an actual word she was saying, she would have said, "gawa" or something like that. Gock-a-miyo, though, was just some word in Umese. We couldn't help but laugh. Uma, not wanting to be left out of the joke, laughed too. Then she danced.
