Uma has strong opinions about which parts of her body should be covered. She insists that her sleeves and pant legs be pulled down all the way so that her wrists and ankles are covered. If a sleeve inadvertently gets pushed up while she's playing, she will stop what she's doing, find me, hold out the offending arm, and repeat, "Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh" until I fix it. I'm still working on convincing her that it's OK if her pant legs ride up a little when she sits down. It's just part of wearing pants, and I can't help her out there. Uma's belly is another matter, however. She frequently walks around with her shirt lifted up, proudly displaying her little round tummy.
