Saturday, May 12, 2007the light at the end of the tunnel is bright indeedLast night, shortly after Uma went to sleep, she yelled out loudly. Rather than pretend nothing happened, like we did in the scary days, we (nervously) investigated. Uma asked for water, and her room felt warm. We got her water and put her into a T-shirt instead of the long sleeves she had been wearing. Then she said, "Uma go back nap. Uma no sad. Uma OK." Things are much, much, much better now than when she was younger.
... Then there's that she's (apparently) perceptive enough to know that we were concerned she might freak out about her sleep being disturbed, and sought to reassure us.Labels: words
