    Morning books

Every morning Uma gets to watch one or two Tumble books, which are lightly animated versions of children's stories with a recorded voice reading along. I've been teaching her the basics of using a computer along with it. All I have to do is load up the front page of the site. She can then use the mouse to pick the right section, navigate through the pages of the index, start a book, close the browser tab once the book is over, do the same thing for her second one (if we have time), and then close the browser at the end (the last one she just learned this morning). She picked it up pretty quickly; the main problem she's had has been precisely positioning the mouse, especially since she often has to move her hand on the mouse to get to the button, so even when she has the pointer exactly where it needs to be, it moves when she adjusts her hand. But it's a good start.
