Thursday, September 27, 2007Uma's-Old-Things-R-UsUma believes that the baby sections in stores are repositories for her old hand-me-downs. Every time we pass the baby clothes and toys in Target, Uma thinks it's a trip down memory lane. She will point out different items and say, "Uma wear dat shirt when Uma baby. Dat Uma's pink dress when Uma baby. Uma play with dat bear when Uma baby."

Uma likes families
Daddy bear, Mommy bear, and baby bear. Then there are the Mommy and baby rabbits.
You see, anytime Uma sees two of a kind, one is automatically the mommy and one is either the baby or "the little." If there are three, the third is the daddy. Fourth is the grandma, and fifth is the great-grandma. Actually, they don't have to be "of a kind;" Uma has told us that Beaver is Puma's mommy.
Ponytail
She has enough hair now that it works nicely. If she'll allow it, which she probably won't.
